Simple process

How to use the LinkedIn Video downloader

LinkedIn post visibility varies. Some posts appear in a feed but require a signed-in account to retrieve the video itself. GalaxyFetch handles only openly accessible media.

  1. Illustrative LinkedIn screen for step 1
    1

    Copy the link

Open one public LinkedIn video post and copy its post or lnkd.in share link.

  2. Illustrative LinkedIn screen for step 2
    2

    Check available formats

Paste the link and allow the source check to finish.

  3. Illustrative LinkedIn screen for step 3
    3

    Preview and save

Preview the available MP4 and save it with permission.

Screens are illustrative. Available media and delivery times depend on the public source.

Link entry screen for LinkedIn Video

01 / Paste

Start with the right LinkedIn Video link

Paste the specific LinkedIn post address or a lnkd.in share link, not a company page or feed. Regional post links such as pk.linkedin.com are accepted. The post must expose its video to a visitor who is not signed in.

Source-quality selection for LinkedIn Video

02 / Choose

Use a format the source actually offers

LinkedIn often limits media access behind sessions. The checker reports only formats it can actually reach and will not ask you to import account cookies.

03 / Save

Preview before you save

Use the result preview to confirm the intended post when a public file is found. If the post becomes login-only, a previous illustration does not guarantee a new download.

Transparent by design

Fast path, safe fallbacks

If the public source exposes a compatible video, the tool offers its real formats and a preview. It cannot import your LinkedIn session.

Works everywhere

Download on any device

Open the individual post and use Copy link to post. Avoid copying a company feed or profile address, which does not identify a single video.

iPhone & iPad

Tap Share, then Copy link. Downloads appear in Safari and the Files app.

Android

Tap Share → Copy link. Find the finished MP4 in Downloads or your browser.

Desktop

Open the individual post, copy its address, then check your Downloads folder.

Why choose this tool

Clear choices, real source quality

The tool does not pretend that every feed-visible post is publicly retrievable.

Supported platforms

What this page supports

Public LinkedIn post URLs, regional LinkedIn post URLs, and lnkd.in short links that resolve to a public post with video exposed without authentication.

Frequently asked questions

Helpful answers

Can I paste a lnkd.in short link?

Yes. GalaxyFetch checks where the short link leads and accepts it when it resolves to an individual LinkedIn post. Other shortener domains are not automatically trusted.

Will a Pakistan or other regional LinkedIn link work?

Yes. Regional LinkedIn post links such as pk.linkedin.com and in.linkedin.com are converted to the main LinkedIn post URL before checking the video.

Can it use my LinkedIn account to access a post?

No. GalaxyFetch does not take passwords, cookies, or logged-in sessions.

Can it download videos from a private group?

No. Group-only and connection-limited media is outside the public workflow.

Can I use a private or login-only link?

No. GalaxyFetch handles only media that the source exposes publicly without an account. It never asks for your password, session cookie, or private-profile access.

Does downloading give me permission to reuse the file?

No. Save only media you own or have permission to use. Copyright and the source platform rules still apply.

Where will the file go?

Desktop browsers normally save to Downloads. Android uses Downloads or the browser download list. On iPhone and iPad, check Safari Downloads and the Files app.

Why might the download fail?

The post may be removed, restricted by region or age, require a login, or the source may temporarily refuse automated access. A public-looking page is not always a public media file.

How long does a prepared link work?

A prepared link is short-lived, normally about 15 minutes. If it expires, check the original public post again for a new link.

How is media handled?

Complete source files may use direct, edge, or proxy streaming. Formats that need merging may use a private, short-lived storage object. The exact route depends on source behavior and current configuration.
