Simple process

How to use the Threads Image downloader

Threads posts can mix photos and videos. This image tool finds photo items only and does not mistake a video cover for a downloadable post photo.

Download one image or every available photo as a ZIP.

Screens are illustrative. Available media and delivery times depend on the public source.

01 / Paste

Start with the right Threads Image link

Use the post address or Threads’ Share → Copy link. A profile page identifies an account, not one photo post, so it belongs in the profile-picture tool.

See the images in post order

Review the image grid. A mixed post may also contain videos, but only actual photo items appear here; video cover frames are excluded.

03 / Save

Download one image or the full ZIP

Click an arrow to save one photo. For two or more photos, Download all creates an ordered ZIP with byte limits and no permanent stored copy.

Transparent by design

No stored copy

Image files pass through a bounded same-origin route only on demand. There is no video merge, R2 upload, or permanent image cache; the ZIP is assembled as it streams.

Works everywhere

Download on any device

Paste an individual public post or an official /share/ link. The source carousel is checked in order, and the largest publicly exposed candidate for each photo is offered. A post with several photos gets both per-photo arrows and an ordered ZIP.

iPhone & iPad

Tap Share, then Copy link. Downloads appear in Safari and the Files app.

Android

Tap Share → Copy link. Find the finished image in Downloads or your browser.

Desktop

Open the individual post, copy its address, then check your Downloads folder.

Why choose this tool

Clear choices, real source quality

Photo-only detection preserves post order and keeps a mixed video carousel from producing misleading cover-image downloads.

Supported platforms

What this page supports

Public Threads posts exposing JPEG, PNG, or WebP photo items on Meta’s CDN, including official /share/ links. Private, removed, video-only, and inaccessible source items are not supported.

Frequently asked questions

Helpful answers

Can I download photos from a mixed photo/video post?

Yes. Public photo items are listed; video items and their cover frames are excluded.

Can I download all photos together?

When at least two photos are available, the page offers an ordered ZIP as well as individual downloads.

Is the image enlarged?

No. The chosen candidate has source-reported dimensions; GalaxyFetch does not upscale it.

Can I paste a Threads profile URL?

No. Use the separate profile-picture tool for account avatars; this tool expects one public post.

Can I use a private or login-only link?

No. GalaxyFetch handles only media that the source exposes publicly without an account. It never asks for your password, session cookie, or private-profile access.

Does downloading give me permission to reuse the file?

No. Save only media you own or have permission to use. Copyright and the source platform rules still apply.

Where will the file go?

Desktop browsers normally save to Downloads. Android uses Downloads or the browser download list. On iPhone and iPad, check Safari Downloads and the Files app.

Why might the download fail?

The post may be removed, restricted by region or age, require a login, or the source may temporarily refuse automated access. A public-looking page is not always a public media file.
