Simple process

How to use the Threads Carousel Images downloader

A Threads carousel may contain photos, videos, or both. This tool follows the source order and includes only the genuine photo slides.

    Copy the post link

Copy the URL of a public Threads carousel.

  2. Illustrative Threads screen for step 2

    Save one or all

Save individual images or download all available photos.

Screens are illustrative. Available media and delivery times depend on the public source.

01 / Paste

Start with the right Threads Carousel Images link

Copy the post URL, its /media variant, or an official Threads /share/ link. The service resolves share links to one individual post before reading metadata.

02 / Choose

See the images in post order

The results grid preserves the relative order of photo items. If the post mixes photos with videos, video covers do not appear as photos, so the photo count can be lower than the carousel item count.

Download controls for Threads Carousel Images

03 / Save

Download one image or the full ZIP

Use the arrow on a card for a single image. If multiple photos are available, Download all creates a bounded ZIP in the same photo order.

Transparent by design

No stored copy

Download one photo without fetching the rest, or request a ZIP assembled and streamed on demand. Image limits control memory and transfer; files are not sent through the video merge or R2 path.

Works everywhere

Download on any device

The public post metadata identifies each carousel child. For every photo child, GalaxyFetch chooses the largest exposed image candidate and checks that its source still responds. Video cover images are deliberately skipped.

iPhone & iPad

Tap Share, then Copy link. Downloads appear in Safari and the Files app.

Android

Tap Share → Copy link. Find the finished ZIP or image in Downloads or your browser.

Desktop

Open the individual post, copy its address, then check your Downloads folder.

Why choose this tool

Clear choices, real source quality

Source-order photo extraction, honest mixed-media handling, and bounded on-demand ZIP delivery make the result predictable on long carousels.

Supported platforms

What this page supports

Public Threads posts with accessible photo items, including mixed photo/video carousels. The ZIP contains photos only. Private, removed, and source-blocked media cannot be recovered.

Frequently asked questions

Helpful answers

Will video thumbnails appear in the ZIP?

No. Video cover frames are excluded. Use the separate Threads Video Thumbnail Downloader for those images.

What if a carousel has only one photo?

That photo can still be saved individually; a ZIP button appears only when at least two photos are available.

Are the images kept on your server?

No. Individual images are streamed when requested, and a ZIP is assembled on demand without permanent storage.

Can a single-photo post be checked here?

Yes. It will show the one available photo and an individual save button, without an unnecessary ZIP.

Can I use a private or login-only link?

No. GalaxyFetch handles only media that the source exposes publicly without an account. It never asks for your password, session cookie, or private-profile access.

Does downloading give me permission to reuse the file?

No. Save only media you own or have permission to use. Copyright and the source platform rules still apply.

Where will the file go?

Desktop browsers normally save to Downloads. Android uses Downloads or the browser download list. On iPhone and iPad, check Safari Downloads and the Files app.

Why might the download fail?

The post may be removed, restricted by region or age, require a login, or the source may temporarily refuse automated access. A public-looking page is not always a public media file.
