Preview before you save

The worker fetches the selected audio stream, encodes it as MP3, and creates a short-lived playback and download link. Configured MP3 artwork may be embedded.

Transparent by design

A genuine MP3, prepared safely

Audio conversion has a 100 MB source/output ceiling or your lower admin file-size limit. A short-lived private link is prepared for MP3 playback and download. Availability depends on what X exposes for the specific public post.

Works everywhere

Download on any device

Many X videos expose a separate audio-only stream. The worker uses that track when available, so it does not fetch video pixels only to discard them. The sound is encoded as a genuine MP3 rather than renaming an MP4 or M4A file.

iPhone & iPad

Tap Share, then Copy link. Downloads appear in Safari and the Files app.

Android

Tap Share → Copy link. Find the finished MP3 in Downloads or your browser.

Desktop

Open the individual post, copy its address, then check your Downloads folder.

Why choose this tool

Clear choices, real source quality

Audio-only extraction reduces transfer and server work, while format checks avoid empty MP3 files from silent GIFs. Playback lets you verify the result before saving.

Supported platforms

What this page supports

Public X / Twitter status links with an accessible audio-bearing video. Protected accounts, login-only posts, silent animated GIFs, images, and removed media are not supported.

Frequently asked questions

Helpful answers

Is the downloaded file actually MP3?

Yes. GalaxyFetch encodes an exposed audio track as MP3; it does not just change a file extension.

Can I download sound from an X GIF?

No. X animated GIF posts are normally silent video loops. The audio tool does not offer an empty MP3 for them.

Why is there no MP3 option for my post?

The public source may expose no audio, require a login, be blocked, or have expired. The tool only offers a verified source track.

Does conversion download the whole video?

When X exposes a separate audio-only stream, only that stream is fetched. A silent or unsupported source is rejected.

Will the MP3 include cover artwork?

If MP3 cover artwork is configured in Admin Settings, new X MP3 conversions embed it; otherwise the audio has no custom cover.

Can I use a private or login-only link?

No. GalaxyFetch handles only media that the source exposes publicly without an account. It never asks for your password, session cookie, or private-profile access.

Does downloading give me permission to reuse the file?

No. Save only media you own or have permission to use. Copyright and the source platform rules still apply.

Where will the file go?

Desktop browsers normally save to Downloads. Android uses Downloads or the browser download list. On iPhone and iPad, check Safari Downloads and the Files app.

Why might the download fail?

The post may be removed, restricted by region or age, require a login, or the source may temporarily refuse automated access. A public-looking page is not always a public media file.

How long does a prepared link work?

A prepared link is short-lived, normally about 15 minutes. If it expires, check the original public post again for a new link.

How is media handled?

Complete source files may use direct, edge, or proxy streaming. Formats that need merging may use a private, short-lived storage object. The exact route depends on source behavior and current configuration.
