Ready for a short while

Couldn’t prepare it
Simple process
Paste a public YouTube watch or Shorts link. GalaxyFetch checks for a separate source audio stream before transferring bytes, then converts that stream to MP3.

Copy the watch or Shorts link of one public YouTube video you may save.

Paste the link and check whether an audio-only source is available.

Prepare the MP3, listen to the preview, and download before the temporary link expires.
Screens are illustrative. Available media and delivery times depend on the public source.
A closer look
See the same three stages on a larger screen. Each example is captured from this website.

01 / Paste
Use an individual watch or Shorts URL, not a playlist. GalaxyFetch reads the public video information to discover its source audio without starting a media download.

02 / Choose
The displayed size describes the selected source stream, not a promised MP3 size. Audio bitrate at the source limits fidelity; converting it to MP3 cannot improve the recording.

03 / Save
The worker encodes the selected audio to MP3 and embeds that video’s own thumbnail as player artwork when YouTube provides a usable image. The temporary result offers playback and download.
Transparent by design
Only the source audio stream and a small video thumbnail are fetched, not the video picture. The thumbnail becomes the MP3 player cover. Audio is capped at 100 MB or the lower admin limit.
Works everywhere
YouTube normally serves AAC or Opus audio, not a ready-made MP3. This tool selects an available audio-only stream and uses FFmpeg to encode a genuine MP3. Conversion uses worker CPU and temporary private storage; it is not a direct browser redirect.
Tap Share, then Copy link. Downloads appear in Safari and the Files app.
Tap Share → Copy link. Find the finished MP3 in Downloads or your browser.
Open the individual post, copy its address, then check your Downloads folder.
Why choose this tool
The tool avoids fetching video bytes, uses the source video thumbnail rather than a site logo for MP3 artwork, and encodes a genuine MP3 under an audio-specific size cap.
Supported platforms
Public YouTube watch videos and Shorts exposing a separate audio stream. Private, age-restricted, region-blocked, live, DRM-protected, and login-only content may not work. Playlists are not supported.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. FFmpeg encodes the available source audio as MP3; the original AAC or Opus file is not simply renamed.
The tool currently offers one balanced MP3 encoding. More output bitrates would increase file size without restoring fidelity missing from the source.
YouTube does not normally provide a direct MP3. The worker must fetch the audio stream and convert it before a temporary link is ready.
Yes, if the selected audio source and finished MP3 each fit the audio limit and the job completes within the configured worker timeout. Long videos can take longer.
No account is required for publicly accessible videos. Content that requires login or special access cannot be guaranteed.
The MP3 uses this YouTube video’s own thumbnail as player cover art when the source image is accessible. It does not use the site’s uploaded branding cover.
No. GalaxyFetch handles only media that the source exposes publicly without an account. It never asks for your password, session cookie, or private-profile access.
No. Save only media you own or have permission to use. Copyright and the source platform rules still apply.
Desktop browsers normally save to Downloads. Android uses Downloads or the browser download list. On iPhone and iPad, check Safari Downloads and the Files app.
The post may be removed, restricted by region or age, require a login, or the source may temporarily refuse automated access. A public-looking page is not always a public media file.
A prepared link is short-lived, normally about 15 minutes. If it expires, check the original public post again for a new link.
Complete source files may use direct, edge, or proxy streaming. Formats that need merging may use a private, short-lived storage object. The exact route depends on source behavior and current configuration.
