Simple process
Feed posts commonly use /p/ links. This page handles video posts; the separate carousel image tool can export public multi-photo posts. Copy the individual public post URL rather than a profile or search page.

Open the individual public feed video and copy its link.

Paste the address and check its available formats.

Choose an MP4 option, play the preview, and download.
Screens are illustrative. Available media and delivery times depend on the public source.
A closer look
See the same three stages on a larger screen. Each example is captured from this website.

01 / Paste
Copy the address of the individual public feed post. The /p/ path matters: a profile grid only points to many posts and cannot identify the video you want.

02 / Choose
Instagram may expose one compatible file rather than a long resolution list. The selector shows what that post actually returns and does not claim to improve its source quality.

03 / Save
A prepared video can be checked in the result card before saving. For a multi-photo post, use the separate Instagram Carousel Images Downloader instead.
Transparent by design
GalaxyFetch prefers a complete video source when Instagram exposes one. Direct or edge delivery is tried only after validation; proxy and temporary storage remain fallbacks.
Works everywhere
In the Instagram app, open the video post and tap Share → Copy link. On a computer, click through to the post detail and copy its URL. Private and login-gated posts cannot be processed.
Tap Share, then Copy link. Downloads appear in Safari and the Files app.
Tap Share → Copy link. Find the finished MP4 in Downloads or your browser.
Open the individual post, copy its address, then check your Downloads folder.
Why choose this tool
The format chooser avoids invented resolutions, while the player confirms the prepared file before you save it.
Supported platforms
Public Instagram feed video posts; not private posts, Stories, or full-profile exports.
Frequently asked questions
This page prepares videos. For a public image-only carousel, use the Instagram Carousel Images Downloader to save individual photos or a ZIP.
Not always. Feed post URLs generally use /p/, while Reels normally use /reel/. Use the Reel page for a Reel link.
No. GalaxyFetch handles only media that the source exposes publicly without an account. It never asks for your password, session cookie, or private-profile access.
No. Save only media you own or have permission to use. Copyright and the source platform rules still apply.
Desktop browsers normally save to Downloads. Android uses Downloads or the browser download list. On iPhone and iPad, check Safari Downloads and the Files app.
The post may be removed, restricted by region or age, require a login, or the source may temporarily refuse automated access. A public-looking page is not always a public media file.
A prepared link is short-lived, normally about 15 minutes. If it expires, check the original public post again for a new link.
Complete source files may use direct, edge, or proxy streaming. Formats that need merging may use a private, short-lived storage object. The exact route depends on source behavior and current configuration.
